Cadwell Park (full) - Sunday 30th June 2013

After the last race at Thruxton the car had a few problems which were fixed for today. Forecast for the weather said it was going to be hot and it was certainly that.

Qualifying went really well, Carl went into Pole position for a few laps but Nigel Tongue set a very quick time along with two other competitors. The gap between Carl and first position was one second so hardly a major gap.

This put Carl on row 2 which was not the best position as the track was tight for two cars so getting the lead would be difficult. The hot temperatures made Carl very exhausted.

By the time the race was to begin it was very hot which made it harder for not just Carl but the other divers too. Carl got off to a good start but sadly this was short lived as Richard Woods hit the back of Carl's car sending him to spin off onto the grass, which sent him to 12th Position, with a safety car and Carl not feeling 100%, he finished in 7th position. Our pitstop went a lot smoother this time only taking 45 seconds. Hopefully we will have better luck at Castle Combe.
