Oulton Park - Saturday 20th September 2014

Carl Chambers, Dave & Shah were hoping that it would be dry, it was dry for qualifying but slippy under the trees so they had a few moments.

Dave & Shah had fitted a LSD to stop the car from spinning up in the bends.

Dave started qualifying but sadly did not set the quickest time, but Shah had several laps under safety car, then had a really good lap putting the car on the grid in P22. Carl was not feeling 100% but still managed an excellent position of 9th.

Carl Chambers

Carl made a good start despite going onto the grass at the first corner. After the pit stops he was in a lonely 3rd place slow catching the Saxo in front, but 2 laps from the end the brakes failed on the Saxo handing Carl 2nd place which he was very pleased with giving him another trophy for the cabinet.

Shah & Dave

Shah started the race, but lost several spaces ending up in 25th by the end of the first lap, after 3 laps Shah was back upto 22nd, when Shah pitted for driver change they were up 11th as other drivers were doing there pitstops, Dave took over and was getting better times than his qualifying times, by lap 15 Dave was in 21st, with getting better times Dave gained more spaces finishing in P17, his quickest lap time of 2:07.
