Round 2 TARC Brands Hatch Indy

We missed round 1 of the TARC Tricolore trophy as it clashed with the first round of the CSCC tin tops at Snetteron.
Qualify went well and I was only 0.1 seconds off pole! I had held pole for most the season but lost it as Simon in the Saxo pipped just at the end.

Race 1

The first start went badly wrong, too much wheel spin! Luckily for me the race was red flagged straight away, not so luck was the 106 and 205! Its seemed the 205 stalled on the grid but the 106 didnt notice and rear ended it, resulting in lots of damage! Both drivers were ok just a little annoyed!
The second start was perfect! I was in front by Paddock Hill bend, but cold tyres into Surtees saw me across the grass and handed Simon in the Saxo the lead back. The race had been shortened to 7 mins, and despite me being faster I could not find a way past the little Saxo but I did try very hard!.

Race 2

Again I made a good start, but so did Simon. I had to go the long way round at Paddock. I had my nose in front into Druids but a little push from Simon sent me wide, so dropped from 1st to 3rd! Yellow flags at Paddock for the next 3 laps messed up my best overtaking place. As soon as they were in I got past Matthews 106 and chased after Simons Saxo again. Back makers worked against me and despite getting the fastest laps I still could not get past that little Saxo! Race 2 finished the same as race 1
